Manufacturing Engineer

InVision is a progressive and strategic recruitment provider focused on servicing technical professions encompassing Engineering, Information Technology and Skilled Trades across Canada.

Our client is looking for is looking for a talented and motivated process engineer to join the Hardware and Manufacturing team. This will focus on the manufacturing processes and support of next generation hardware product, from prototype to mass production. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who is a professional, detail-oriented, team player, interested in working in a fast-paced start-up environment.


Work with internal and external parties to support, develop and sustain manufacturing processes to meet or exceed the technical requirements of our products while achieving quality, throughput and cost objectivesSupport the implementation of manufacturing processes including, but not limited to: facilities, layout, equipment selection and installation, work flow, process flow, process characterization, process monitoring/control methods, material handling, tool selection, consumables, documentation, training, support, and equipment service/maintenanceLead the activity to characterize, verify, and validate manufacturing processes to meet product requirementsCreate, maintain and sustain documentation of the entire manufacturing processECR/ECN lead in ManufacturingCollaborate with design engineering team during product development


BS or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineeringWorking knowledge of electronics product assembly (PCBA and product level) Advanced Quality Planning (SPC, FMEA, DOE, PPAP, and Verification & Validation)Good communication skills to collaborate with and manage cross-functional teams
