Coordinator Sports Rehabilitation


This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted November 23, 2018.


We are recruiting for an experienced administrative professional with exceptional communication and organizational skills to join our Sports Rehabilitation Clinic. This role is responsible Sports Rehabilitation is responsible for efficiently connecting new business to the appropriate resources, conducting various reporting and analysis, and providing exceptional client service to new and existing clients.

The Accountabilities:

  • Acting as the initial contact for all sports rehab clients and potential clients, the Coordinator navigates the client to the appropriate Sports Rehab Professional and ensures a seamless transition of new business including client bookings and all related functions
  • The Sports Rehabilitation Coordinator is a critical point of contact to all new clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Relationship management: Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance the client experience
  • Client service excellence:Demonstrates a positive attitude and leads by example in owning client service issues in a way which increases client loyalty and retention. Other capabilities that this role will require include:
    • Achieving targets on timely client delegation
    • Complete all servicing of clients’ needs throughout the day
    • Responsible for retail sales and inventory
    • Ensuring all administration is completed in accordance with Medcan policies and procedures
    • Adapting to changing schedules based on daily client arrival times and clinic flow

The Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Passion for Sports Rehab and client service
  • Prior experience in client relationship management
  • Experience with problem solving and client resolution
  • Experience in a Sports Rehab Clinic is an asset
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • University degree in Health Sciences, Kinesiology or related discipline is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel

This is a full-time role that is scheduled primarily during business hours Monday through Friday for 5 days per week.
