FindBestDoc Coordinator – Remote

This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted November 26, 2018.


THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE To source physicians for members requesting usage of the Teladoc Health ‘FindBestDoc’ service; while both developing and maintaining a centralized database for identification of same. This is done through researching expert doctors in our existing database and matching members with a physician that best suits both their clinical diagnosis and geographic location. This role also involves direct interaction with clients, staff nurses, organizational business partners and medical office personnel.


  • Searching the Expert database in order to match the members with physicians appropriate to both their clinical condition and geographic location; performing all pertinent quality checks and investigations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by setting clear expectations when interfacing with all constituents.
  • Ensures that our Member’s Expert selections are accurate and received in a timely manner.
  • Manage and improve the existing Expert database to ensure maximized functionality and efficiency.
  • Record and manage referred Experts; designing process flow that enables ease of access to said information.Involvement in polling exercises; increase our profile and the number of specialists contained within the database.
  • Act as internal resource to locate Experts, as required, for other service processes (eg. InterConsultation).Other duties, as assigned.


  • Bachelors Degree preferred or, equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in a clinical environment eg. hospital, physician office.
  • Bilingual (English & French) is required.
  • Familiarity with health care provider access and processes across all provinces, as well as, associated systems and databases.
  • Clinical experience and demonstrated critical thinking ability.
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service focus; ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships.
  • Ability to match expert physicians to Members based on clinical need.
  • Proficient independent clinical decision making.
  • Proficient in using technology including software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.Superior problem solving and organizational skills; ability to multi-task while effectively managing both time and resources.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast paced environment.
