This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted January 2, 2019.

What are the details for the Winter 2019 Internship?

  • January 14, 2019 to April 26, 2019
  • Mon-Fri (up to 40 full-time hours per week  – flexibility of hours is required at times)
  • Hourly wage paid semi-monthly by direct deposit
  • All of our Intern roles are fully supervised and office-based

What’s the ”Consumer & Loyalty” USA team all about?
The ”C&L USA” account team is dedicated to creating and executing successful, national field sales and marketing programs out to the end consumer in a variety of settings/locations across the USA (retail, events, etc.) with the goal of delivering brand awareness and driving sales for the products and services belonging to our valued US-Based Wireless & Financial Services/Retail Banking clients. 

What does Jr. Field Recruiter Intern do?
In our world, there is no ”typical day” (which is awesome!), but we guarantee you’ll be working on (and learning about) these 5 key areas on a regular basis: 

  • National Field Sales Representative recruitment within the USA region:
    • Sourcing, screening, phone/Skype interviews
  • Shortlisting; follow ups; data entry

  • Recent graduate of a relevant college or university program (see above);
  • Excellent time management / organizational skills;
  • Excellent phone and English communication skills – written and spoken;
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook;
  • Great listener, fast learner, team player who wants to contribute/learn
  • Professional work ethic, responsible, accountable and reliable
  • High degree of confidentiality;

What are the ”nice to haves” that will help set you apart in your application?

  • Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador or Field Sales Representative for an experiential marketing agency; 
  • Some previous retail or corporate office experience;
  • Spanish as a 1st or 2nd language;
  • Ping pong expertise (What can we say?  We’re slightly competitive and we love to have fun while we work!)
